Peak UK’s nephew Hector Hewett and his friend Harry MacColl have set themselves the challenge of taking part in the Devises to Westminster International Canoe Race over the Easter holiday. They’ve roped me in along with Harry’s dad as their support crew. They are both pupils at Marlborough College which has a team of ten boats entered in this years event. A truly great opportunity for them all!!
This weekend the boys were participating in the Waterside Series Race D. These events are great preparation for the main DW challenge. They raced 34 miles from Devises to Newbury and put in a great time of 6 hours 38mins. A truly brilliant effort - well done!
